Plumbing nightmare story

Our Service Technician was called out to a new customers home for a shower faucet problem. After arriving at their home, he asked what was it they needed. They informed our tech that they wanted a bid to replace the entire shower faucet which was behind the tile wall and not a small job. Then he asked them why they wanted to change it. They responded that XYZ Plumbers (not their real name) came out to fix a leak on the shower valve and told them they would have to replace the entire faucet. And it will cost $800.00 to do the job.
Our tech took one look at the shower faucet and informed them that it could be repaired right now and no need to replace the entire faucet. Naturally, we won them over with a simple change of a cartridge in the faucet. We have another new customer and they saved hundreds of dollars.
